ZTE, Samsung to Collaborate on 3G Home NodeB Development

ZTE and Samsung have reached an agreement to collaborate on the R&D of Home NodeB equipment. Home NodeB are 3G WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access)-based mobile base stations, which offer the convergence of wireless and fixed-line telecom services both at home and in the workplace. The two companies' Home NodeB products will be designed to offer WCDMA and Wi-Fi Internet access as well as VoIP capability.
